Hello! So I wanted to put together a unique outfit for students in college. Especially fashion students. I feel like  as fashion students we should dress the part!  I think the pairing of the greenish- blue sequined high-waisted skirt with the bright yellow cropped sweater is totally cool and unexpected. Plus those Kobe Husk sneakers are freaking awesome! Add some stockings and sweet jewelry and you'll probably be the best dressed in school.  The items i've used in this outfit board are listed above. You can also find them by clicking the actual outfit board itself then finding the items through Polyvore.com

Outfit of the Day!

Hello fellow fashionistas!
This is what I've been wearing today. I've thrifted the top from a shop in Chicago. It's super beaded and really quite heavy. I love it! The skirt is from Forever21, the purse is also thrifted, same as the hat. The boots are from Topshop!
I hope everyone's having a lovely day :)

So those are my favorites from this seasons Fashion Week! I seriously LOVE the last outfit, which is Prada. Its perfect, isn't it? Anyway, I did not attend any shows this year, unfortunately! I rely on a couple of amazing websites for coverage. For the most reliable runway coverage I turn to Style.com. They have total coverage of every show, so that where I turn to! There are a couple of other blogs I love for street style at FW like; Man Repeller and Jak and Jil.

I hope you enjoyed all of my favorites for FW this season!

Featured Designer

As all of us fashionistas know; Louise Gray has introduced her collection Louise Gray for Topshop in Chicago.
The eye catching pieces are to die for! Who wouldn't want to add one or ALL of her amazing rainbow sequined dresses and tops to their closets?

If you've seen her items in Topshop then you absolutely must check her spring 13 collection that has just shown at London Fashion Week!

Here are some of my personal favorites and what I think of the show:

I'm absolutely loving the eighties vibe going on here. The use of geometric shapes and the various different types of lines takes us back.  At the same time it's so rock and roll. The combination of these two elements make me think of nightlife. I could totally picture each of these outfits either at a club, music show, ect. I think Louise made it a little more modern by using a lot of metallic, which is a huge trend this season.  Moving on the the hair and make-up..I can't say enough how much I love it. The super teased rockstar hair pushed to the side is quite cool. The 'crown' eyebrows would have to be my favorite part of the make-up look. They create a really quirky and creative look to the girls. It's almost comic book-like really, with the lines of the eyebrow crowns and the big moles added to all of the models. The girls also all have a peachy lip and eye. To top it all of They all have a simple powder blue line on their eyelids.

Overall I love Louise Gray's Spring Collection. It is probably one of the most unique and original lines to show this year.

I know this show is probably not up everyones alley, but I feel like so many of these pieces are quite wearable! So I would love to hear what you think about it!
